Any team that cuts paychecks to J.D. Drew deserves to lose. Haha. Perhaps Terry Francona was moved to desperation a little bit early; he chose to bat Drew at the top of the order last night. Drew is a story for another day, although he’s a fucking washout over-payed over-hyped wasteoid.
The Tampa Bay Rays might actually win the whole thing this year. Their pitching was good all season and their defense was top notch, these things we knew. The biggest surprise this postseason has been their sudden offensive outburst. 13-4, forget it man this thing is over. The Rays were built with stockpiled draft selections, rip-off trades (see Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano), and quality signings. They’re a real team in the truest sense. Yes, lovable Theo has a pretty good draft record and the Manny for Bay deal is teetering on genius, but c’mon he also threw a suitcase of money at J.D. fucking Drew. Not to mention that Curt Schilling is collecting more than any single Rays player this season just to shoot his Republican kisser off. Go Rays.
Raptors and Jermaine O’Neal
I’m nervous. J.O. looked like a lost senior last night. He bobbled and booted the ball several times and he ran like Ralph Sampson. Patience young Padawan.
